Haverhill Equitation Team takes 4th in HS and 1st in MS at first competition at Stonehouse Stables.

IEA, or Interscholastic Equestrian Association, was formed and organized to promote and improve the quality of equestrian competition and instruction available to middle and secondary school students.  For more information on IEA, check out their websiteat www.rideiea.org.

Haverhill will be hosting an IEA team for the first time for the 2014-2015 school year.  Natalie Shinnamon will be head coach with Jessica Straus supporting.  Riders will indicate availability for selected shows and the coaches will make final selections for riders participating.

IEA shows are very different from regular shows.  At IEA shows, the rider will not know the horse they are riding!  You draw a horse, get on, and go show!  Riders that jump are able to school two fences.  In order to prepare riders, lessons in which IEA riders are riding will likely switch horses, and riders that are planning to show must attend a practice sesssion at Haverhill once a month.

Come support the Haverhill Team at the following shows!

Oct 4th- Stonehouse Stables    Oct 11th- Still Meadows      Nov 23rd- Cottonwood Farm Dec 13th- Foxtail Farm    Dec 14th- Bridlewood Farm    Jan 17th- Foxtail Farm

Jan 25th- Bridlewood Farm
